I only had 2/3 success installing via QCMA, what worked was switching CHOVY to Compressed mode. (should work in Adrenaline and emulators as well, but not tested)

So this is a 700MB xdelta3 patch to a 1.4GB file, but the original translation clocks in at a whopping 1.7GB, so there are some space savings there. Correctly identified as ULJM-05957 (Extra Edition) now, which fixes (or breaks) cheats depending on your perspective.ĭownsides are that an encrypted archive doesn't compress very well, beyond the compression already done to it by the archive format(cpk). Gets rid of the hacky method they used to load an unencrypted archive with all the localization assets. Google Valkyria Chronicles 3 English patch & you will find it, it’s very easy to apply, you only need a copy of the game & a USB cable the same one you’re using to charge PS3 controller, follow the instructions & enjoy, I’m at Chapter 9 right now & the game is incredible, the story is amazing & the gameplay is as good as the first. I've repacked the V2 translation into a "mostly proper" ISO, which should work on the vast majority of hardware and emulators. Now, the game already worked and still works on Adrenaline and some other emulators, as well as various CFW PSPs. Tried a few things, then gave it up, since it wasn't working and I didn't know why. The short answer is that it can be done, but is a little tedious and requires the original translators to have done everything correctly.
And got curious about installing translation projects on the Vita through it. Which is a way to install PSP games from ISO on unhacked Vitas.
